SOLUTION 1 - PERFORM A SIMPLE RESET:

  • First, just turn off your printer.
  • Remove the cables from the printer and plug them back in again.
  • Press and hold the printer’s Power button for about 30 seconds.

SOLUTION 2 - PRINTHEAD REPLACEMENT:

The printhead is a key component in the overall printing process as it helps you create beautiful text by transferring the ink to the loaded paper. As the first step, try to clean the printhead.

  • Click on the Windows Start icon.
  • Search for Control Panel.
  • Go to the Control Panel window and then click on Devices and Printers.
  • Locate your HP Envy 4500 printer icon.
  • Now, just right-click on it and select Printer properties from the drop-down menu.
  • In the subsequent window, click on the Hardware option.
  • Click on Clean Ink and follow the on-screen prompts to clean the printhead.

SOLUTION 3 - ENABLE PRINTER COLOR COMMAND:

SOLUTION 7 - CLEAR THE PRINTER QUEUE:

  • On your computer, open the Control Panel window.
  • Go to the search bar. Type printers and press the Enter key.
  • Now, you need to click on View devices and printers.
  • You will see all the printers that are connected to your PC.
  • Right-click on your printer, and a pop-up dialog box will open. Click on See what's printing.
  • Go to the Printer menu and click Cancel All Documents.
